I would 100% recommend MeRT treatment for any 60+ year old dealing with hard to treat depression as I have for many years. After just two weeks of treatment, I'm feeling like I want to get up and do things again, which I had not felt in quite a while. We had a great experience with The Brain Treatment Center for our autistic son. The entire staff was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, patient, caring, professional, accommodating, compassionate, and supportive. We truly felt heard and cared for throughout the process, and the level of dedication and expertise made a meaningful difference for our family. I would highly recommend them to anyone considering MERT treatment.
The technicians we worked with (Kim & Tracie) were both so friendly and easy to talk to. They made the experience as comfortable for our kid as possible and even engaged in some good conversations with the parents. Our goal was to lessen the severity of our child's aggression and after 6 weeks we have seen declines in both severity and frequency. We also utilize in-home ABA, online social skills, and psychiatry. I believe all have helped to get him to where we are at.
