This vet gave the wrong advice regarding my Belgian malinois. A second opinion and I was given an entirely new treatment plant. However their misdiagnosis and lack of experience delayed her treatment by approximately two months and she unfortunately did not survive. Currently in contact with lawyers. Today I called about my horse having a seizure and they told me they weren’t able to help me or come out because I had previously used a different vet!!! Even with the other vet calling end explaining the emergency and medication and that they are much further away and needed help sooner they still declined to help. Thankgod to Goulburn vets even though they are an hour and a half away!! This vet is so unbearable to speak to because it’s clear what they have in mind and it’s not the animals.
Since moving locally 1 year ago, I have required help regularly from panicked unscheduled visits due to one dog deciding he is a wombat hunter, new horse worries, pet cow worries, chicken advice, cat UTI diagnosis and routine visits and surgery with other family members. Greg, Nicola and everyone at the practice have always been so helpful, knowledgeable and accomodating. Phoned this vet practice twice- once for a horse and once for a chicken and they are so unhelpful. I’d hoped with a smaller rural practice they’d be super nice but now twice have found the reception almost argumentative. Thank goodness for Queanbeyan- got me straight in.
