I booked 2 $90 kids braids with own hair. The first appointment I booked was for 11 Braider NYA didn’t get started until 1120 because she was still working on someone else. Fine I’ll wait, so I’m noticing as she starts my first daughter’s hair that the braids look quite big for the price. If I’m paying $90 each for a 6 yr old and an 8 yr old to get braids with natural hair only no hair added, why would I only want them to last a few days? And not be neat. I could’ve done it myself. As many of you know my children lost their father a couple weeks ago. It has been a challenge for them but we are getting ready for the funeral Saturday. Both Nayah and Elias have been asking to get their hair loc’d but I was hesitant. I decided to get it done for the service. I spoke with Marneisha Zink owner of braids of Katy, and set an appointment for them. Elias got starter locs and Nayah got instant locs with extensions, at least that was what we agreed to. My 1st visit to the new location I meant to suggest to the owner start accepting crypto but called and stopped in walk in I had 2 get an assessment bc I cut my hair About a year ago bc It held a lot of negative energy so I finally grew it long enough to get something done again Kiera did the assessment and gave the assist to MO she did a excellent job she now is my new hair stylist This is the best hair salon I been to since relocating to Texas

Always a good experience when I go to Braids of Katy. Always professional, and they do it all braids, relaxers, silk press etc…
