I would give this a 0 stars if I could. I had an appointment at 10PM and she kept saying that she was going to be 5 mins late. Waited for an hour and a half and she never showed up. I ended up just leaving. Stay away if you don’t want to be stood up. Poor customer service. How can you make someone wait for that long.

This was a very horrible experience. Came on time she had me wait a hour after her client showed up after me. She was picking my hair out dry and had a attitude when I asked her if she can use some water to moist my hair while combing it due it to being dry. I'm so flabbergasted I cannot even finish typing the most horrible experience I ever had. IF you looking for a top notch hair stylist don't go there!

I don't recommend. While Nia's talent is impeccable, her business acumen is severely less so. She was routinely 20 minutes late to all our appointments, which I let slide as the price of hiring someone who is skilled at their craft. However, these last two times have been egregious. Our primary communication had been IG- I reached out and didn't get an answer for two weeks. I found her number, reached out, she claimed she was unavailable to work nights. Braids by Nia is pound for pound my favorite hair joint for any and all baby girl's look. Nia is warm, hospitable, and incredibly quick! In the few times I've been in, she's taken care of my daughters hair in record timing. I've seen her do what two people can braid in half the time! Don't believe me? Come, see for yourself!
