I went to get my hair done here A few months ago, and when I took my braids out I experienced an extreme amount of shedding, which I believe was due to the excessive amount of gel that was used from the root, all the way down to the shaft of my hair. My hair was extremely damaged afterwards and the breakage was horrific. If you still decide to get your hair braided by them, please emphasize that you don’t want any gel in your hair.
I love the atmosphere, ambience and professionalism of this place! Definitely coming to do my hair again. Wish I had taken a pic, but best believe it EATS DOWN!
I get my braid takedowns done at Braided and my only regret is not doing it sooner. Emily is always thorough and quick while carefully taking out my braids. Their takedown service is so much better than me doing it by myself at home. Not to mention, the salon is beautiful and clean! 5 stars!
Good people, but can be over priced. I would ask about every charge before getting your hair styled as they can start adding on additional costs, but great people and excellent stylists.
