I’ve been following BraidBySonia on instagram for a while, so I finally decided to get my hair done by her. First of all, she told me she still worked at a salon but I found out she works at her home, I was confused but I decided to still get my hair done by her. I asked her prior to my appointment for KNOTLESS, WAIST LENGTH, SMALL BRAIDS. I was recommended this place from a friend from instagram. They had a blue check so I thought they were legit. But they tried to upscale my price from 180$ to 200$ but I spoke up. The older lady doing my hair purposely made my twists look fat. It was like a warehouse with cracked walls and furniture. And for only twists, I was already overcharged.
I had an amazing experience at Braids by Sonia! The braids were beautifully done, and they lasted a full 3 months—even after I went swimming on vacation. The quality of the braiding and the attention to detail were impressive. The stylists were friendly, professional, and fast. I’ll definitely be coming back for my next style. Highly recommend! 10/10
I got a same day appointment to do medium Knotless braids. Sonia and her team did a wonderful Job. They worked quick and I love my braids. Everyone is so sweet they make you feel at home: I will def be back.
