Cosy walk with nice scenery. Plenty of birds but lots of steps.
We’ve now completed numerous section of the walk around the harbour and this is our favourite. It’s not too long, has only one decent hill (between Chowder Bay and Balmoral) and has great views the entire length. The path is mostly in excellent shape, and there are toilets at Chowder Bay, Bradleys Head and Balmoral, along with a few places to stop for lunch or a drink. An absolute must-do! This is an easy, beautiful walk along the coastline that takes about 60 minutes from peaceful Chowder Bay to Taronga Zoo. You get stunning harbour views, but you are mostly walking under the shade of trees, which is great on a sunny day. There are also lots of hidden beaches and side areas to explore along the path.
