This used to be a 5 star spot but now it's 2 stars at best. The off-road crowd has rutted out what used to be the campsites and everywhere else around it so you couldn't even set up a table in the spots where there used to be fire pits, tables, and places to chain up and lock your quads. Granted ya have t been able to camp here for 20 years now but when ya still could this was the place to go that was close to home. The trail is currently closed due to logging. It looks like a few people have gone over the fencing but you can't get very far before the trail is torn up and fallen trees block the trail. Even if you follow the gravel road farther down to where the trail crosses the road, you are not able to get very far in before you hit logging again and the trail is closed and blocked by logging paraphanelia.

If you could fish out there I'd say 5 stars. But great trails and decent hunting

Had a blast playing in the mud!
