I came into the ER from a ambulance for severe pain in my leg. It was severe enough that I could not move. I had to be pulled off the floor and carried into the ambulance. I was given fentanyl for the pain. I am disabled and take many medications for my conditions. All my pills were brought by my sister. I also just had a labral repair done in my hip. I went the ED at SFMC early morning with severe back pain. The nurse on duty was amazing. However, Dr Beran did not seem to help or even care how I was feeling. He ran no tests and referred me on to another specialist. Said he didn't want to run any tests, he was just going to treat the symptoms. From the specialist, I found I have degenerative discs in my lower back. The medication this Dr prescribed didn't even touch the pain I was in. I feel like he should be relieved of his duties.
