I had a great experience working with Mr. Putney during the closing of our family cottage. The transaction had a few complexities, but his expertise with the local area and the applicable laws made the entire process smooth and straightforward. I am a paralegal who referred my daughter to Mr. Putney based on a recommendation from his colleague. To make a long story short, my daughter's horse was severely injured when a stable was hired to transport the horse. Mr. Putney charged my daughter hundreds of dollars to write one letter. Advised her she had no case and "closed his file." He asserted the horse boarding agreement covered the trailing of the horse. However, "horse trailering" was not a part of the boarding agreement. I can't speak highly enough of Mr. Putney, his service level, and professionalism. If you are looking for help in a real estate matter, he is in my opinion one of the best in the state let alone Northern Michigan. From the very first consultation call to the day he literally schooled opposing counsel in court, I felt at ease knowing our case was in good hands.
