Horrible, in my opinion both wildly unethical and perhaps illegal conduct. BKR closed a real estate transaction for me, then refused to disburse ANY of the proceeds, to the tune of $1.8 million. BKR justified this by saying they didn't finish providing the Buyer fully clear title prior to the closing, so they'd be holding onto my entire $1.8 million indefinitely until they were finished. It's also convenient BKR is earning interest the entire time they hold the proceeds.
I've worked with Brad Richardson through real estate closings for 20+ years. He's always personable, professional and helpful. The staff members are also great to work with.
