Dr. Doolan and his staff are friendly and caring. They make you feel comfortable and at ease no matter what is going on. They squeezed me in for an emergency just before vacation. Thank you!!
Dr. Doolen is attentive and patient as a doctor. This is only my 2nd eye doctor that I can remember and Dr. Doolen compares to the all time legend Dr. Glatt in Bloomfield. My appointments never feel rushed and I leave understanding my eye health better. The other 2 staff that I have met are also very personable and pay close attention to health insurance detail so you can find the best eye-ware/frame fit.

I was originally very happy with Dr. Doolen and his receptionist. They were both very friendly and knowledgeable. My reservations grew over time. First, the window to pick up glasses was very short. There were only a few hours during the week, which did not work with my schedule. I ended up having to drive to the Verona office to pick up my glasses even though I live in Union. I’ve been going to Dr. Doolen for years and honestly can’t imagine going anywhere else for eye care. He’s incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and takes the time to explain everything clearly—no rushed appointments or confusing medical speak. He always makes sure you feel comfortable asking questions.
