I met Dr. Champagne 18 yrs ago. He stayed with me all these years. I had stage4 colon cancer. He was not a surgeon that looked at you as a body part. He looked at you as whole person w/feelings. He tried very hard to teach his students to have bedside manners. Some did fail. Though he strived to get them to do better. I was the 4 case ever see by this hospital. I was used to teach people all over the world. I know he would do the very best in your cancer journey.

I made a first time appointment with this doctor and had to wait a month for the appointment. About 5 days before my appointment his office called to say that he wouldn’t be in the office the day I scheduled. I rescheduled for another day at noon and was called the day before my rescheduled date and was told that he couldn’t see me at the time I rescheduled and would need to come in earlier.
