I have nothing but good things to say about Dr. Garner as a doctor, but the scheduling system and staff behavior at this Mercy location are unacceptable. Expect a 6-to-8-month waiting list just to see an NP rather than the doctor himself. Recently, I was dismissed from the practice for missing two appointments, both of which were due to communication breakdowns on their end. Always a pleasant experience when I deal with anybody in the office.
Terrible experience. Went here for preconception counseling over a year ago. Seen by both Dr. Garner and his NP. Was put on the wrong dose of thyroid medication with no follow up. Was switched to a different thyroid med despite having absolutely no symptoms or issues with the former med. Because I was under AND over medicated, it rendered me virtually infertile for the last year, completely negating the whole point of going here.
