Beautiful place that we have enjoyed for many years. Unfortunately, the place has lost its charm for us. The fishing is o.k. it was better the first three trips we made. The staff turnover has made it challenging for Igor and Karen, but with that the service has diminished. Our last trip in, we were unable to fly due to heavy rain so we got a motel that night in Millinockett and then drove in the next day. We no sooner got there and we were told our Guide was ready. Beautiful location, great hunting and fishing, authentic log cabins with wood stoves and gas lamps yet a full bathroom - rustic but not roughing it. Food is great, comraderie with other guests is delightful. Karen and Igor are great hosts.
Bradford Camps is in a very special part of the world, a very special part of Maine. My experience is staying (twice) in one of their remote camps (not the main Bradford Camp), but with both trips, I had interactions and help from the Innkeeper Igor, his wife Karen, and their crew. We have been coming here for about 17 years, although we usually don’t do repeat vacations!|This is a wonderful place to vacation if you like the outdoors and want to get away from it all! No cell service, no tv, but a daily weather report is available.|Many come here to fish in the beautiful and serene Munsungan Lake: mostly trout and salmon.
