When I asked the provider, Crystal Patel, to please note that I'm seeking sterilization surgery and would like to set up an appointment with a surgeon, she laughed at me and said "What?! Why wouldn't you want children? What if your boyfriend wants kids?" which is a WILD thing for a medical professional to say. Also, she did not document what I asked her to. lol
Love the BRADENTON office and highly recommend. Friendly, efficient and professional. Relaxing atmosphere. I saw Amber Tolon APRN today and she made me feel at ease and comfortable.
I saw Amber Tolon APRN. She was the best APRN I have ever seen and so informative! No issues getting an appt. Got in within the week I called. Front desk was friendly and polite.
I went to this doctor office and I was told by the front desk that my insurance needed to be changed. She told me to call the insurance companies to switch it to a different one. I did so right away trying to avoid an $1100 per visit bill. The NP that I seen (Crystal) was very rude about this. She was very annoyed at the fact that I was not able to get labs done prior to the visit. I explained to her that I work a 8 to 5 job. I had my appointment scheduled over a month in advance and got it canceled 2 days before and transferred to a nurse practitioner without consulting me if I was okay switching from my doctor first. There was no willingness to reschedule my appointment with the same doctor unless I wanted to waited at least another 2 months. Very disappointed and frustrated with this clinic.
