Loved visiting Braddock Bay Bird Observatory. Appreciate all the volunteers who collect data on migration of birds near Lake Ontario. Wonderful & important work and resource.
If you have any interest in birds, I recommend visiting the observatory, especially during banding
First time visiting and while it's a small area, we HEARD over a dozen species during our visit, and saw birds like Baltimore oriole, mourning dove, swallow, flycatchers, and red bellied woodpecker. Install the Merlin app before you go and watch it come alive with different species singing.
