I originally only wanted a standard cleaning and dental check-up covered by my Bupa insurance. During the appointment, the dentist recommended resin treatment to cover an area where the gum had receded. I explained that I did not have any tooth sensitivity at that time and preferred to leave it untreated for now. The dentist assured me that the procedure would not damage the tooth because it only involved covering the surface with resin. I had an appointment with Mona Mikhail in September, and she was awful. I was supposed to have a wisdom tooth removed, but all she did was traumatise me for 10 minutes about how if she went ahead with it I’ll either have a numb jaw for the rest of my life, or be in excruciating pain for the rest of my life and need to be on constant medication.
