I have been a patient with this doctors office my entire life. (29 years) I moved to Ottawa 10 years ago but my entire family still lives in bracebridge. Up until this moment I was still seeing my family doctor here with no issues. Not sure what has changed. But after booking and appointment weeks ago. I just received a call that I am no longer eligible to be a patient here. So they have dumped me and left me high and dry with no family doctor at all. What a horribly run facility.
Not accepting new patients. PHIPA violation inbound but they sent me to the hospital for a sore throat.
Honestly, the best medical care I have ever gotten in my life has been here. I now have to drive a few hours to get here, but genuinely worth it. Theyre always on time (if not early), I actually feel heard, I don't get dismissed, and I get followed up with directly. I wish there was a way to email (for forms or just clarifying questions, etc) since it would be quicker to fire off an email than call, but it is what it is.
