I went to the ER last night having breathing difficulties. The staff treated me like I was the only one there. Which of course I wasn't. Seriously the care was wonderful. Very kind and helpful people from the doctor to the nurses, the x-ray technician, the respiratory therapist, everyone. Their only concern was my comfort, and the doctor listened to my needs when I told her I didn't want an iv, and that this problem has happened to me many times before, as I always get bronchitis after getting over a bad cold. Thank you so much guys, i just remember arrive to the emergency room, crying for a terrible pain, thank you for your manners, i was soothed for all of you, that calmed the pain more than the morfin. The only thing I can say for Bozeman Health ER is that they are consistent, consistently a disappointment. Your Dr's are cold with little bedside minor. Your nurses are usually sweet but I can see it on their faces that complaints are common. Do better.
I’m writing this review because I noticed several one-star reviews that seem unrelated to the care provided by the ER itself, and I don’t feel they accurately reflect this department. I’m from Billings, MT, and Bozeman healthcare often gets a bad rap, but my experience was the opposite. Every staff member I interacted with was kind, professional, and attentive. We were very impressed with our ER visit for our son and how good Dr. McMickle was with our sons treatment and care. We left feeling trusting of his care and appreciate so much how professional and kind he was to our family.
