ER was fantastic!
Had minor surgery to get a lump removed on my back. Whole surgery went well and everyone was nice but after surgery care is awful. Got out late from my surgery so unable to pickup my meds from pharmacy as they close at 5. Had surgery Friday went to get my prescription Saturday and pharmacy was closed and was told nobody could fill it. Asked if anyone in the hospital could help and I was told I would have to pay for another visit and that they would give me different meds. Really horrible experience. It’s taken a few years to write this because of my personal shame. This hospital does not treat SI patients with respect, dignity or decency. I was left for hours in the hallway under the florescent lights with no socks and a light blanket. I realize I was there by choice. I was also asking for help. I hope no one else has to go through what I did that night.
Staff were mostly very friendly. Overall the hospital did poorly at keeping track of my preferred name; they had to ask me multiple times and kept using my legal name. It took a while to be seen but that is probably normal for the ER.
My first experience there was Absolutely Amazing ...... The rest not so much .... I've unfortunately needed to fo several times ... in the past 2 years . Apparently I get the B Team..Rude almost hateful or bothered your there ... I have been charged for things I shouldn't have ..1 example pregnancy tests .it's in my chart and asked everytime I'm there , I've had a full hysterectomy.. charged for medications not received. I have spoken to the billing department but have gotten nowhere and will not pay these bills until they a... read more
