My in-laws brought their Sea Doo to Boyum in August 2023. They charged them $200 to diagnose the PWC. He told my elderly in-laws the supercharger was bad and that it needed to be replaced at "ruffly $2,200." I told them to refuse the repairs and wait until I made it to town. ALL I did was change the oil and filter. The check engine light went away immediately. That same supercharger is still powering that ski 2 years later. Don't waste any time here before also reading the reviews on travel sites and additional search apps! Many clients reported lack of preparation, professionalism and punctuality! I'm sorry I blew your mind with-in an hour of my post. It did not have a comment in it, only a rating. You must have been watching for it, for some reason. It's got to make people wonder. Ghosted after payment! Saw another review about Kevin refusing a refund that was within the cancellation window, and unfortunately the same thing happened to us. He charged the full amount of the rental up front and then we sadly had to cancel our trip due to a family medical emergency. At the time of booking, his cancellation window was 14 days, and Kevin changed the cancellation policy to 30 days after we had reserved our snowmobiles. We realized that he changed the refund policy after time of booking, it was too late. We ... read more
