update: the office contacted me about why they didn’t respond in time. Fully understood. You have my sympathy. Will delete the no response part. They explained why they didn’t send the code to insurance but instead charging 200$ from patients. But they didn’t explain why they ignore the fact that the estimated cost by EOB is different as the office could submit. They can charge whatever amount they want, but the actual amount you owe is per your EOB. And, the recenmentation happened out of nowhere 49 days after the initial c... read more
