I was charged 1800 for my taxes and I had to correct the junior accountant who wasn’t familiar with new bonus depreciation laws for real estate. I only had 4 properties and know many investors who have paid substantially less when they have bigger portfolios. I will be going to a new accountant that understands real estate taxes and actually provides tax strategies over the course of the year by communicating with the client and not just speaking to them once a year. There are better options out there.
