WOW!!! Mr Boyd is the greatest. My bike had not been ridden for many years and everything was needing attention. He told me to leave it and he would see what he could do with it. My wife and I were eating lunch in Bristol and I received a message that my bike was ready for pickup and was good as new. When we returned to the shop Mr Boyd greeted me with a smile and a handshake, explained what was wrong with my bike and how to better maintain it. Stopped by this shop for a new tube after getting a flat. In addition to the products, we received a warm welcome and recommendations for what to do in town. Friendly shop with friendly proprietors! Panties optional, as the sign indicates.
I had the privilege of visiting this shop and meeting Mr. Boyd this week. I, along with Maggie, my Belgian Malinois, frequent Steele Creek Park riding my bike and/or hiking. On this particular occasion I had forgotten to put my bike trunk in my car and didn’t realize it until I got into Bristol (from Greene County, TN); and I wasn’t going back to get it.
