When I heard the words, "you have breast cancer," my immediate reaction was absolute terror. My daughter had heard good things about Dr. Boyd so I chose him as my surgeon. During my first visit I knew I'd come to the right place. His staff, Sherry, office manager, and Annette, back office, immediately put me at ease. Dr. Boyd explained everything in detail, told me of his bias' and why he has them, and during my biopsy, I learned he has a great sense of humor. I'm forever grateful.
My husband is still in excruciating pain 2 years after Dr. Boyd performed his hernia surgery. While still in the hospital, we informed Boyd of the pain level he was experiencing and I was concerned that it was so high several days after the surgery. Boyd responded with, He shouldn't be in this much pain. I guess I'll just cut him back open and take everything back out! FIND A DIFFERENT DOCTOR!
Great bed side manor, attitude, staff. Colleagues speak highly also. Takes the time to do things right.
