I recently visited Boxcar Eats in Old Sacramento and to be honest, I wasn’t all that impressed. The place looks fun from the outside with signs for Dole Whip and Tillamook Ice Cream, which definitely caught my eye. Inside, the decor was kind of cool with colorful chandeliers and lots of seating, but the atmosphere felt a bit empty and lacking energy—even though it was evening. Best frozen custard I have had. Delicious
We had a very refreshing pineapple dole whip float. My server was nice and he made a good float!
False advertising, no dole whip its sorbet . Also medium size double scoop was actually just a full one scoop in a medium cup. Tried once but won't again.
