My Nissan Rogue did not pass inspection because I was told I needed a completely new control arm for over $1,700.00! I took my vehicle to Mike Reynolds on Route 30 in North Versailles and he verified it was fine and will pass inspection! It only needs a couple of ball joints replaced and that's only to prevent a rusting problem, not to pass inspection. Bowser Nissan FLAT OUT LIED AND TRIED TO CHARGE ME A TOTAL OF OVER $2,200 IN TOTAL!!!
Update: after 12 yrs of faithful service, I got dicked around & screwed over by Mike, the tech AND the GM....I'm out! Take me for more money then put the wrong part in on top of manhandling the aftermarket part installation....nope!! I've had my 2014 XTerra since she rolled off the assembly line! They take such great care of me here! I'm closing in on 100k miles & Brittany, my service expert, has taken such excellent care of us! Nearly $90 for new wiper blades that were perfectly fine, brake fluid work in which my brakes occasionally squeak still, unnecessary air filter and intake replacement for about $100, recommended new tires and alignment before winter that I bypassed for now and saved myself $1200. Still ended up costing me over $550 for minimal things to pass my inspection on a car that's only 3 years old and I drive about 7000 miles a year.
