I visited the emergency department at Bowral Public hospital on March 31st 2025 about a fall i had. The staff were amazing, all of them that helped me, the triage nurse, the orderlies, the x-ray lady, the admin lady and the doctor. They were all very brilliant, friendly, kind, sensible and light hearted. My visit there was actually enjoyable, crazy as that sounds. I would like to say my experience came up positive with answers about why I am in pain. But, I wasn’t and my experience wasn’t pleasant. I came in after having been told by my doctor that hospital is where I need to be as it could be more serious. I experienced a restless night of sleep and being in pain in my lower abdomen, feeling extremely hot and light headed and experiencing severe bloating and constipation. Some of the nurses were so rude, I can’t believe I had my children there, made me feel worthless and felt they were making fun of me, I had an emergency c-section and told me I should come out of my room and socialize with other moms lol, so I did, and as I’ve walked into where they wanted me to go I could over hear a mother and nurse making fun of woman who have c-sections, just wow luckily I had a beautiful comment for them both lol. This hospital needs a staff overhaul.
