Regular outages, and often takes a good deal of time to come back on. Maybe they're understaffed, maybe they just don't care. Regardless, there's no excuse for this frequency of outages. Especially considering that it often goes out with little to no bad weather.
We've only lived in the area for 5 months, and have lost power 3 times. Currently in an outage right now. The first two times were weather related, so a part of me understands, but the fact that it's taken over 2 to 3 days to get power back those first two times is just ridiculous. Right now the weather is great. No storms or wind, and yet here I am, in my car, with my 3 year old and 11 month old, while 24 weeks pregnant, waiting for power to come back on, while my toddler and infant are crying because they don't understand ... read more
They focus on the rich neighborhoods first hoping to get liked more and leave the broke side for themselves. I'm currently out of power because they don't know how to fix a power line without 500 men on a singular project. Last year during the summer I had to wait an entire week without im the blazing hot heat because they didn't want to fix what a singular man could do. Absolutely pathetic
With prices so high, they should be able to do their job properly. They work achingly slow, and do not prioritize in the ways they should. They also do not upkeep with maintaining safety, as in trimming branches that could potentially harm lines. They do not care.
They didn't listen to me last year when I put in a call to them about trees on the power lines. They didn't listen to their own tech when he put in a job about the tree on the power lines 3 weeks ago. Thanks Bowie Cass
