My 80 year old mother purchased hearing aids here and when she called in to get an adjustment on my hearing aids, they said they no longer carry that brand. I paid $4000 to get these and now they wont support them. I'm not sure Ive had them 18 month. Why would they sell something that they were having problems with. They offered my $1000. if I want to upgrade. Why would I trust them now. They just want your money and will not give you support. Do they prey on the elderly people who can't hear?

I apologize as it seems perhaps information may of been missed during your last communication. Bower Hearing Centers used to be a Zounds Hearing franchise store. We have not sold the Zounds product for the past two years but have been making every attempt at servicing those customers with Zounds products at a cost to us. I had an awful experience with this company. Since my company I was using for a few years was permanently closed, they were kind enough to give me information for B**** Hearing Centers. After phoning them and being assured they could supply me with the cushions I needed and other parts available for purchase. I scheduled an appointment. They did not help me with my needs, they broke my hearing in three places. I was so upset, I couldn't speak....I just walked out literally in tears. The customer did call to make an appointment with us to look at her Zounds hearing aids but due to the fact we are no longer a Zounds franchise store we have limited parts for service. Many users do not know the size they need for tips and parts so we are unable to provide exact availability to the customer. We stopped selling the Zounds product over a year and a half ago and have been allowing Zounds customers, even those who have not purchased from us, trade-in their Zounds units, working or not, towards newer rechargeable... read more
