Fantastic professional and efficient friendly service provided by the ED team
Yesterday I attended the fracture clinic at Bowen hospital. The young receptionist was very pleasant and helpful. I was seen by Dr Eliza who was a delight. She was very caring, explained things easily. She was lovely.

My Husband Robert attended the Emergency Department after hours on the 24/02/2026. From the time we arrived my husband was surrounded by a small team which became a medical emergency swiftly after arrival. The Doctor on shift late in the Evening that was by far the best we could have had during the situation that followed. My husband was Air lifted to Townsville Hospital which he endured life threatening medical emergency surgery on arrival.
