I cannot be more appreciative for the wonderful treatment and caring good advice the Bowl Diagnostics & Therapy Benowa Clinic has given me. I doubt if any bowel problem is straight forward but the advice and treatment I am receiving from Kate Parker and staff has me helped immensely. Having been to the Bowel Clinic in Benowa was something I’d put off for a long time. But from the moment I meet Jodi, the nurse, I felt completely at ease. She guided me through each stage gently and with just the right personality it made the experience not as daunting. I’m incredibly grateful to have had her support throughout. If I can give one piece of advice: don’t put it off—getting tested is so important!
Drove an hour to see a bowel specialist… get there… a hour of being in there… they don’t even have bowel specialists they only refer you. Nurse said she would do tests and all she did was ask me questions and tell me she ran out of time. To me I feel I have been scammed! A way for them to get money from Medicare or something. So strange! So deflated!
The clinic sent me a text at 9:12am for a same day appointment at 11:30am cancelling due to staff illnesses. I am a 78 yr pensioner and have to travel from Pimpama to Benowa….taking an hour at times. No one called me back to reschedule me…I had to call …..they said there was only one nurse who could do the procedure. I am suffering acutely from bowel pain and was preparing for this exam. Now I don’t know where or what to do. Very bad service and I didn’t even get my foot in the door‼️‼️‼️‼️
Nurse Lauren was an absolute Gem! She made the experience so comfortable and was amazing at explaining every detail. 12/10 nurse who deserves all the appreciation! Thanks Lauren!!
