Had a VERY unpleasant interaction with Jake last weekend. This is our third year doing business with him. Had some minor issues in the past, but this year has been painful. He was extremely unresponsive to calls and texts and at one point his VM was full, so I am assuming several other people had similar issues. While Jake is extremely hard to get ahold of this is absolutely the best place to have boat repairs done! They are unbelievably busy as is every boat shop in America I've worked with Jake and had him do work for me and he's a great person so just be patient and give him time and your boat Will fixed right the first time. Thanks for getting me back on the water bro!
Drove 2 hours to pick up a trailer from Jake. He called me while I was already an hour in route and explains he is unable to meet me for the pickup. Says he will send me the title in the mail. When I arrive at the marina the trailer is not as advertised and was missing several parts; the spare tire, guide poles and 6 pin connector for the trailer lights. The wiring also appeared to be cut where the 6 pin connector was removed. He agreed to send me reimbursement for the missing items but I still have not received jt nor the t... read more
We had an appointment to service and winterize the boat. More than 2 weeks later, the boat hasn’t been touched and Jake won’t respond to my texts or calls. We are repeat customers and have had a great experience until this year.
