I first went to Bovane in 2020, after Covid kept me from my stylist at Deva Salon in NYC. At the time, I made the brave choice to do the big chop—cutting off all the dye and starting fresh with my natural grey. He guided me through every stage, from rocking a Mohawk to now having long, curly, silver hair that I absolutely love. This kind and amazing gentleman is a creative artist. One of the best gifts about Bovane is his ability to genuinely understand, listen and care about his clients. He puts a strategic plan together with you that makes sense and then executes it to perfection. When you call to make an appointment his assistant, Kelly does everything possible to accommodate you and get you in. I can't even begin to say how greatful we are to have found Bovane because my daughter gets anxious when she gets her haircut. He is so friendly, funny and kind that he is the only hairstylist that she trusts. We have been going to him for about 3 years now. Our hair needs to be handled differently and he knows just what to do for us. You can tell he has a really good understanding of all hair types. We appreciate all his input and advice and our hair comes out amazing every time.
