I filed for SSD on my own. Huge mistake, after denial I contacted The Bourne Group they came highly recommended. Mr. Bourne reviewed my case with me and immediately realized the issue’s. We appealed and he worked diligently on correcting my mistakes. Wishing that I had sought the council of Mr.Robert Bourne on my initial filing. Mr Bourne is NOT an attorney. Just be aware of that if you want a lawyer to represent you. He is rude and not very empathetic. He does as little actual work for you as possible. He will recommend the option that will garner him the most amount of money, not necessarily the option best for you. I wouldn't look not recommend him as my personal experience with him was not a good one. In the end I did get disability, but I did it on my own but he still got paid since I started the process with him.
