I’m trying out different cafes in the area. I’m also in need of fresh sourdough bread. So Bourke Street was on the list of recommended places. Maybe I should check out their other locations instead because this one in Rockefeller didn’t seem… nice? It was particularly empty when you look at it from the outside. My local favorite for pastries such as the Strawberry Twinkle Tart and the Nutella Twist, friendly and fast service. This is a smaller take-out spot compared to the other locations I’ve been to (including the Melbourne location) but their baked goods are always fresh and the manager Andre is never without a smile on his face and a welcoming attitude! I stop in when I need gifts as well since their pastries are always a hit! They offer freshly baked sourdough and whole breads and cold drinks / coffee.

Food is nice, but every time Ive went, the service was poor. Staff is not friendly and come across standoffish. No exchange of words. Not even a hello. Paying via kiosk wouldve felt more welcoming than the cold cashiers. Makes me not want to come back.
