BWO is friendly, helpful and is the best place to kick off your BWCA adventure! There facilities are comfortable and impeccably clean. They always make sure you have exactly what you need. We had an awesome trip and can’t wait for the next time!
Boundary Waters Outfitters did a fantastic job with our 2026 trip. This was the second year I’ve used them, and once again they exceeded expectations. We rented four canoes, several Duluth packs, and even needed a last-minute fishing rod after realizing we’d forgotten one. They had everything ready for us and made the process quick and easy. Boundary Waters Outfitters even went the extra step and put our canoe on our car. Will be going here again. Will add photo later.
The staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We had a large group and a lot of questions and they were great about answering all of them for us. They are located a little past downtown which felt less chaotic and the bunk house was super quiet if you choose to stay there before/after your trip. Will definitely outfit with them again the next time I do Boundary Waters!
