We rented gear (canoes and packs) from Boundary Water Outfitters and it was great! Peter helped us plan an easy, scenic route for our first time in the BWCA.We stayed in the bunk house the night before. Everything was super clean. The hot showers upon return were wonderful! I would definitely rent from Boundary Water Outfitters on our next trip to BCWA.
This was the perfect way to introduce our family of 5 to the Boundary Waters. The gear, packs, canoes, and food were all great and the route they suggested was the perfect length. They make it really easy to show up and head out.

The guys at Boundary Waters Outfitters were outstanding! they kitted us out with all the gear we needed for our group of four for 4 days/3 nights including way more food than we needed, comfy sleeping systems, spacious tents and lightweight canoes. On the morning of the trip John gave us all the information we needed for a safe and fun trip including his recommended camp sites and best fishing spots.
