Dr. Milan at Boundary Bay saved my cat Alby's life. Alby had a complex ear disease in both ears that was causing rapid neurological deterioration, and I had been told by other vets that he didn't have much longer to live without surgery but that he was also not eligible for surgery. Dr. Milan went above and beyond, working with WSU's oncology department, to identify a special test to diagnose the root cause and determined that a double VBO ear surgery actually was possible. I was referred to Boundary Bay Vet by my regular vet for a consultation for a enlarged lymph node. I had a cytology test and a biopsy done that didn't indicate cancer. I consulted with an internist that referred me to the oncologist since she didn't think it was anything she could do. I consulted with the oncologist about what path to take. The options were get a CT scan for$ 3,500 for a thorough look to see if there's any cancer to detect ( the x-rays take there didn't indicate any) OR - get surgery to take out the lymph no... read more

After my 3-year-old dog Felix got diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer, we were in desperate need of a oncology vet who could help extend his life, manage his pain, and provide him with treatment plan. We were able to be added as a new patient at Boundary Bay Veterinary Clinic fairly quickly, which was a blessing, because many other clinics had very long wait times for appointments.
