Great experience highly recommended. The town of Boulia is neat and tidy. The camel racing is a unique event. Plenty of firewood available for the camp fire stories at night.
I was having the best time here until the baby camel tagging completion started witch made me cry 😪 so cruel to see I had to leave those beautiful baby camels so treafied looking for a way out x trying to jump out of the pens and getting there legs stuck in the fence THEY WERE SO FRITEND AND WILL BE SCARED LIFE had to walk away and will never come back because of that I'm a wildlife carer x I have spent so much time x money trying to make animals lives better JUST TO SEE THEM BEING SO ABUSED BAN THIS PRACTICE PLEASE IT'S SO... read more
Fantastic event, very well organised. Great entertainment alongside the camel rides, the camping onsite was excellent with a lovely crowd of people enjoying it all. I'd highly recommend going!
