BSC is a safety forward company, and a great place to work.
We moved to Mead about 10 years before BSC and immediately noticed trouble. We were walking behind the plant to watch the marsh birds and noticed the company was draining a railroad tank car via garden hose into the marsh. The birds began disappearing. Couldn't find the ones I had been watching anymore. Then I got severe breathing problems. Several ex-employees are disabled. People who live close have suffered major illnesses such as MS.
