I had a fairly painful spinal fusion procedure at BCH.  I had a great experience.  I’ve had other surgeries at different Hospitals in Colorado Springs that I had terrible experiences at.  So I’m a veteran of hospital stays unfortunately haha.    The nurses were great.  My hospital PA was great, MY PT was great.  The food from cafeteria was good as well, and they responded quickly to fill my needs.  No onle likes to stay at a hospital.  But my stay here wasn’t bad at all thanks to great folks working here…..Matt Knight

This review is not 1 star because of the quality of care, the care was wonderful, but instead, it is due to the financial assistance and billing offices lack of concern for offering affordable healthcare for those without insurance or without quality insurance. I moved to Colorado this past summer and was unfortunate enough to require an unexpected ovarian removal surgery. I have a written referral which this office will not accept. They refuse to schedule an appointment. I had to call the referring doctor an have them fax the referral. This is incompetence at its finest. My insurance does not require referrals. If the doctor is accepting new patients I should be able to make an appointment. This is delaying my care. I recently developed a condition and was not getting much of a response from my PCP. I contacted Boulder Heart and was able to be seen very quickly by Adriana Lorenzo. Adriana is an excellent care giver. She listened and genuinely engaged in understanding my condition. And because of this, she discovered something that could’ve been very detrimental to my health. I am very impressed with the care that I received at Boulder Heart. Thank you so much!

About a year ago I got covid and according to Boulder women’s clinic I had to cancel my appointment last minute because they didn’t want me coming inside with covid. So I did. For the last year they have been hounding me for money to pay my cancellation fee, even though they demanded that I cancel my appointment. Dr Heather Pujet is the finest physician I have had in my 63 years on this planet!
