Great place to stop when you'd like something different. I usually have tomato soup in a bread bowl here with a salad.
Great sourdough and wonderful clam chowder and you don't have to go to San Francisco to get it. I really like how they create sourdough shapes for the various holidays (trees, cornucopia, etc.)
Great place to stop and get bread! All different kinds! They also serve food. They have excellent soup and sandwiches for lunch!
Boudin has never disappointed. The service has always been great and the food is delicious. Sometimes it's hard to find a table, only because they are always busy.
I love Boudin's sourdough bread. We always go there when we're at Fisherman's Wharf and while the SAcramento store doesn't have the same atmospheric location, the food is still good. Parking can be a problem at Loehmann's Plaza, however, if you're there during lunchtime. The sourdough turkeys are very cute for Thanksgiving.
Boudin is a great place to have lunch. Sitting outside on the patio enjoying tomato soup in the bread bowl is so a great way to relax!!
Love this bakery! The breads, cookies, and food are delicious and inexpensive. The parking at the fountains sucks though and deters me from eating here as often as I might otherwise.
The sourdough bread bowl with clam chowder is great on a windy cold summer day at Fisherman's Wharf.
