Skilled artists from Italy, Luca Guerrieri, Antonella Ragazzi and David Arato, started their first venture in Seattle in 2003. They used fresh fruits, milk and chocolate sourced from Italy along with their expertise to create amazing gelatos in over 20 varied flavors. And the result: Bottega Italiana won numerous awards in succession and continues to enjoy an unceasing loyal patronage. Besides the tempting desserts, their freshly brewed coffee is well worth the try.

Amazing place for gelato and authentic italian coffee – plenty of selection to choose from and very friendly staff! It's now my favorite dessert place of all time when I'm in the downtown area

Best Gelato In Town – I first wandered in here after a long day at the Pike Place Market. I went to Italy a few years back and couldn't stop thinking about the gelato available on every corner. I had tried some other gelato around town but nothing compared to Bottega Italiana! The flavour is so powerful, the texture is so creamy and smooth. Try the strawberry, the pieces will just burst in your mouth! Best Gelato, no question. – I love Bottega Italiana's gelato. For that matter I really enjoy their espresso, too. The first thing that caught me about their gelato, though, was it's texture. Actually, this place has gelato just like in Italy, not that ice-crystal-ed stuff one often finds while trying "gelato" in the US. As for Bottega's e... read more
