WARNING 🛑 My advice is that you do not use this facility, especially if they recommend the dementia unit. Most of the caregivers provide subpar service. I also question the abilities of the PAs. Other than keeping the facility fairly clean, they are awful at routine administrative functions. You cannot trust this facility to do the right thing and they may hide information that could be life saving.
I left the Beaumont Rehab Center exactly 3 days ago. I was there for 3 1/2 weeks following my heart attack. I was so weak and feeble that I was barely able to sit upright. I am walking now and I owe it all to the exceptional staff there at the center. They were attentive, , friendly, and very serious about their jobs All the nurses and aides were kind and helpful. The the physical therapy staff were patient and supportive. I 'd highly recommend this facility to my own family.
This place is absolutely outdated and the nurses are inattentive and always on their phone and now 3 COVID cases but nobody is masking up not even the nurses this place is an absolute mess as well as a lack of dietary restrictions for diabetics get it together corewell
Seriously- not telling any of the patients that covid is going around. Put it on the door, walking in... The nurses are rude. Patients can't have more than 1 disposable cup for water, so they can keep 'refilling it'. No set diet, even for diabetes or people who have heart conditions. Lots of sugar and salt. I hope to God my parents never have to come again. I will be sure to find a different place!!!
