ボストンに来たら一度は訪れたい場所。アメリカ最古の公立図書館です。本館と新館があり、渡り廊下でつながっています。 本館の入り口を抜けると、大理石の階段が目に飛び込んできます。2階の読書室が最大の見どころ。静まり返った空間で多くの人が仕事や勉強をしています。レトロなエレベーターで3階へ行くと、大きな壁画を観ることができます。 新館は、モダンな建物で貸し出し図書がメイン。外国語図書も多くあるので、日本語の本のコーナーをのぞいてみるのも楽しいです。 カフェの近くにちょっとしたグッズコーナーがあり、かわいいグッズを購入できます。

I had the absolute best time touring the library. It’s equivalent to walking into a museum. Don’t miss the math room lounge and make sure to ask for Roger when you order the best carajillo you’ll ever have. We also had high tea while there.
