John and his team did an excellent job. Our new deck loos great: very high quality, great attention to detail and sleek, modern finish. I have to confess that, at some point I got worried about the delay and some of the negative reviews I saw online. I was wrong. There was a significant delay, but, probably not his fault at all, just shipping delays and shortage of workers. It took several months to complete the project but the result is really stunning. I would work with this company again.
Really bad experience with this company and it’s owner. John said deck would be done in 3-4 weeks. Five months later, and several deadlines later, deck was not completed. Every excuse I can think of was used as to why. When I pushed to get all materials onsite I was told he couldn’t afford them. This was after he had a significant majority of the cost of the deck already. Craftsmanship of what he did was extremely poor, and includes code issues (stairs not level and at different heights).
