As someone with celiac disease, this was an extremely disappointing experience. I’ve been visiting Boston Pizza for many years, especially the New Westminster location, and I’ve always been impressed by their service and care. Unfortunately, my experience at the Beatty Street location was completely different. I went in today at 10 a.m. to watch the FIFA game and was told there was a $30 minimum spend per person. We agreed to the minimum spend and were seated. We also had coffees from a nearby café with us, and no one told us upon entering that outside drinks were not allowed. Tonight we ordered dinner from Boston Pizza, including a Kids Menu burger for our child. Unfortunately, both the fries and the burger were noticeably spicy, making them completely unsuitable for a young child. I visited this restaurant tonight and ordered two entrées and a drink. I also informed the staff that I have an allergy to onions and garlic. I really appreciate the first staff member who helped us by checking with the chef about the ingredients in the sauces.
