Dr. Brown is one of the best in her field. I had the privilege of having her services for the first time 32 years ago after moving to Boston as a young woman. Genuinely one of the worst experiences I have had with any type of doctor. She was so incredibly rude, unfriendly, and unprofessional. Showed up 30 minutes late to the appointment.
I was recommended to Dr Brown by my current dentist over 12 years ago. Dr Brown is very efficient at what she does as an orthodontist. I came into her office over 12 years ago to get Invisalign and never look back, the process was a bit long but I have to blame myself for that. Dr. Brown seems to me to be an expert in her field and she is still passionate curious about developments within it. She has a holistic view of orthodontia for seniors. Initially I felt a bit self indulgent about correcting an overbite and shifting teeth after age 70. I thought it was vanity. I came to understand that the process was helping my overall mouth/teeth/gums health through its success and her really remarkable patient care.
My orthodontist is in the Midwest, and I haven't had braces in over 10 years, but I have some permanent retainers. When one popped off one tooth while holding to another I was desperate to find someone who'd remove it before I headed to a conference. Three dentists turned me down, but Dr. Brown saw me immediately, consulted with me on options for replacement or whether that was even necessary, removed the wire, and charged a very reasonable fee. She was great and put me at ease!
