I am formally disputing the $125 charge for a Level 3 office visit (99213) related to a recent appointment that did not result in the intended service being completed. This visit was scheduled for a simple follow-up blood draw to be sent to a lab. I arrived on time; however, the appointment was booked so late in the day that the clinic was unable to send the lab work. This was a scheduling issue on the clinic’s part, not mine. I visited this clinic for a simple follow-up blood draw that was supposed to be sent to a lab. I was charged $125 for a Level 3 office visit (99213), which is already on the high end for this type of service in Arkansas. The appointment was scheduled so late in the day that the clinic was unable to send the lab work out. I arrived on time, so this was not my fault. Boston mountain rural health mountain home Dustin Bentley ARPN. We have lived in many places over my career in the Navy and after retirement. We recently moved to Mountain home area and found Dustin at Boston mountain. I have never had anyone, PA, NP or MD spend 45 minutes talking to me and my wife. Never in the last 30 years have I ever had anyone ask, why are you taking this medication?
